Closing the Loop for Troymill Customers
Every pallet has more than one life in it, if you have the right partner to bring it home. Troymill’s Pallet Recycling program picks up used pallets while we’re already onsite delivering new ones, then feeds each unit back into our circular supply chain. The service is free to active Troymill customers and, in many cases, earns you a credit on your next order.
How the Program Works
- Delivery & Pick-Up in One Stop
- Our sky-blue trailers arrive with your fresh load of pallets, lumber, or dunnage.
- At the same dock, we load out your stack of empties, Troymill pallets, or any standard wooden pallets you’ve accumulated. We only ask that they are stacked and secured, ready to load.
- Inbound Inspection
- Returned pallets are sorted into three categories: repairable, reclaimable, and grind-grade.
- Next-Life Processing

Program Essentials
- Who’s Eligible? Active Troymill customers receiving regular deliveries in OH, PA, IN, MI, IL, KY, WV, or NY.
- What Pallets Qualify? Standard wooden stringer or block pallets (48 × 40 and most custom sizes). Plastic or metal pallets are excluded.
- Is There a Fee? No. Pick-up is integrated with your scheduled delivery. Certain grades may qualify for a credit.
- How Often Can We Schedule Pick-Ups? As often as we deliver, weekly, bi-weekly, or on an agreed call-ahead basis.
Frequently Asked Questions
Pallet recycling runs with scheduled deliveries. If your returns exceed trailer space, we’ll coordinate an additional run at standard freight rates.
A-grade repaired units meet or exceed original design specs; each pallet passes our QC inspection before reissue.
